A contemporary case study on the transformation of a traditional economic system (traditional subsistence systems to sedentary plow farming) as well as a glimpse into the day-today activities of the Tiruray of Southwestern Mindanao in the 1960s. It describes and compares system as well as their relative efficiency in terms of production costs and results.
