One of the first thorough cursory studies on women in indigenous communities in the Philippines, specifically the indigenous communities in Mindanao. Covered in this study are the Bagobo, Blaan, Bukidnon, Kulaman, Subanon, Tagakaolo, Tiruray, and Yakan women.
