An article relating to the special skills training program for out-of-school youth among the Maranao Muslims of Lanao del Sur with three courses: loom weaving, carpentry and woodworking, and vegetable propagation. There are no enrollees in the vegetable gardening course while the dressmaking and tailoring are in demand. Part of the training program is a series of lessons on small business and the organization and operation of cooperatives. The graduates of the training are then expected to form a Bayanihan Youth Association.
