The professional preparations of guidance teachers in relation to their competencies

Annotation

Concludes that teachers have favorable attitude towards guidance but they do not have the much-needed courses in guidance and inservice training. Guidance activities as performed by the teacher are unsystematic, informal and incidental to their classroom instructions. Occupational information is the weakest aspect of guidance competence while the strength is educational qualification.
