The Philippine state and secularized Muslim concept: Aspects and problems

Annotation

The article presents the generally known fundamental aspects of Islamic life. Dar-ul Islam concept demands that state authority should manifest those that reflect Islamic principles and ideals for the purpose of rationalizing the subject in a secular state and of ascertaining of how Muslims have become "Secularized" so they could be incorporated into the Philippine politic. The term secularized tends to be innovative but places the Muslim in a problematic situation.
