A product of a ten-month field work intended to provide a basis for regional planning for the development of the National Cultural Communities, the study gives an overview of the situation of the cultural minority situation in Mindanao, highlighting four major groups: Manobo, Teduray, Ata and Subanun (pronounced Su-ba-nen). With maps and population data drawn from the 1970 census.
