This work is an attempt to portray the current problem in the Muslim areas of Zamboanga, Basilan, and Sulu. The lessons derived from the Spanish and American experience are integrated and applied to the current situation along political, economic, psychosocial, and military aspects with the end view of presenting possible solutions to the Muslim problems in the said areas.
