Assesses the mathematical proficiency levels of high school seniors in Notre Dame schools. Concludes that school type (exclusive versus co-educational) do not affect proficiency level, students who graduate from the private elementary schools performe better than those who graduate from the public elementary schools, and if the test is the reflection of the expectations of the NDEA, then it appears that a majority of the students have come up to expectations, or only a third performed below expectations.
