Concludes that the big number of illiterates are among the cultural community groups. The remoteness of their residence from the urban areas and lack of transportation facilities are the contributing factors to their being illiterates, they value the importance of being able to read, write and compute, to enroll in the literacy program. Inadequacy of funds and lack of teachers/staff are problems encountered in implementation of the program.
