The study presents the institutional capabilities of ZAEC in terms of their program on basic biological sciences. The study focuses on the faculty profile, laboratories, curriculum, and equipment/facilities. The research employs the PAASCU-PACUCOA survey instruments and a scale using a likert-type are administered to the eleven teachers teaching basic Biological Sciences and 164 enrolled students in this course during school year 1996-1997.
