A study focusing on the prevailing conditions and services of fifty-two selected foodservices in the Islamic City of Marawi. It also identifies the problems that have markedly affected the services rendered by these institutions namely the following: poor garbage waste disposal and drainage system, unscheduled disruption of water and power supply, poor credit collection, lack of skilled workforce, increase in the prices of prime commodities, lack of capital and lack of space for further expansion. It also contains the socio-demographic background of owners and the effects of these to the food industry.
