This work describes in detail the extension program of bringing about the desired change in the lies of the Maranaos, by an effective literacy extension program of the Dansalan Junior College. Basic philosophies that generated the extension program are presented. General programs for the Maranao community are presented and built with literacy as its main core. Possible improvements in other aspects of community life are at the same time explored.
