Presents the findings on the socioeconomic profile of program administrators and Arabic teachers of madaris schools, assessment of the capability in the implementation of madaris education program, and the problems encountered. Majority of the Arabic teachers are male, married, belong to age bracket 26-35 years and with baccalaureate degrees. Based on the qualifications of teachers mandated by the Civil Service Commission, the madaris teachers are not qualified because they are not civil service eligible, but most of them believe that they are competent enough to implement the program. Facilities and equipment are inadequate due to lack of financial assistance from the government.
