Contains retrospective studies of different agribusiness in Mindanao the Eastern Mindanao Area Research Consortium (EMARC) based in four social science research institutions in Mindanao (Ateneo de Davao University, Notre Dame University of Cotabato, Cor-Jesu College of Digos, and Urios College in Butuan City). It also inquires into the statuses of households and communities hosting the transnational companies (TNCs) and their respective business: oldest (post-war) banana industry (Davao Province), palm oil industry (Agusan del Sur), cacao export industry (Davao del Sur) and rice industry (within the context of the Agrarian Reform Program as implemented in a major land reform area in South Cotabato).
