It contains the comparison of the law of testimonial evidence on Islam and under the rules of court of the Philippines. Specifically, it presents the similarities and differences between Islam (Muslim) laws of evidence and the rules of evidence under the Rules of Court in respect of the duty to attend as a witness, the qualification and disqualification, number and sex of the witnesses, admission or confession and the administration of oath and the reasons for the similarities, if there is any.
