Annotation

Provides a data-base which will be a primary aid in decision-making as TESDA-10 evolves Technical Education and Skills Development plans and policies. Specifically: the profiles of the four provinces in the areas of physical and demographic attributes, labor force participation, employment/unemployment pattern, education, and Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) performance between the years 1993-1996, and sociodemographic characteristics and employment perspective of priority target clients/beneficiaries of Technical Education and Skills Development, and the production capabilities, skills requirement and procedures in hiring, promotion, and termination of various industries. The information from this investigation will determine the skill and investment priorities of the region and the four provinces.
