Teaching Muslim Filipino History

Annotation

An essay endorsing the teaching of Muslim Filipino History as a separate course, or at least an elective course, in the English curriculum in Philippine Colleges and Universities. Four factors which inhibit the widespread exposure of Moro history in Philippine tertiary schools are discussed. The paper suggests what might be done to facilitate the teaching of Muslim Filipino history in schools.
