The Geometry teachers in public secondary schools in Maguindanao are found qualified to teach Geometry in terms of their educational attainment, academic degrees, specialization and eligibility. A significant number of them, however, have not undergone relevant training in teaching Geometry. Chalk-talk teaching strategy is frequently used by the teachers as they perceive this as the most effective strategy in teaching Geometry. Most of the topics prescribed by the Board of National Education as contained in the Revised Secondary School Curriculum are extensively covered by the teachers within the academic year.
