In this study, 100 grade V and VI teachers from Zone 3, Compostela Valley, Division of Davao and 1,094 pupils under them answer a forty-seven-item opinionaire in order to appraise teacher effectiveness in the following aspects: task orientation, opportunity to learn criterion material, variability of techniques and materials, enthusiasm and involvement, feedback to students, structuring of instruction, multiple levels of questioning, management of classroom, direct instruction, assessment of student progress, adequacy and flexibility of instructional time and appropriateness of pacing of lesson.
