This short chapter cites artistic conventions which lent character to the designs of the different ethnic groups within which such designs evolved, leading to the distinctive features that identified specific cultures. Mention is made on the motif of the Maranao and the Mandaya. Includes a table of artifact and its unique design, the archaeological site and different eras of culture.
