Explores the knowledge, attitudes and practices of prohibited and regulated drugs among the secondary students of Surigao City during the school year 1985-1986. Findings show that the students are aware of the problems relating to prohibited drugs and have some technical knowledge concerning drugs. Drug education, however, is suggested and should begin in the family and elementary level as a preventive mechanism for the youth.
