This study describes the supply and marketing aspect of bamboos widely distributed and popularly or commercially utilized in the region. It identifies the five species namely: bambusa blumeana (balakatan, kawayan tunukon or kagingking), bambusa vulgaris (lunas), dendrocalamus asper (bontong), dendrocalamus latiflorus (botong), and schizostachyum lumampao (lakap or bongbong).
