Covers the personal economic relationship of the retail store owners outside the market place and their customers referred to as "suki" and examines the economic benefits of "suki" relationship and its institutionalized role. This relationship operates between the customers and the owners whereby the suki customers patronize the suki storeowners giving them assurance of selling their goods such as palay, corn grain and copra and in return the storeowners offer credit services to their customers in the form of cash.
