This paper describes the profitability and viability of venturing tiger grass farming in the uplands. Its investment requirement is minimal and its income is of great help to augment the family's income. Tiger grass farming can prevent or minimize further forest destruction. It is estimated that the life span of the tiger grass is about ten-fifteen years.
