Studies on the propagation of blackpepper by cuttings

Annotation

The study determines the: (1) best soil medium and size of cuttings for blackpepper under the SMARC - developed propagation box, and (2) effect of defoliation on the rooting success of blackpepper grown from cuttings. The results show that high rooting success can be obtained in a soil medium of pure sand (85.34 percent-86.50 percent) and sand with chicken dung with a ratio of 2:1 (79.34 percent).
