Develops a combined process of segregation, amonia leaching, to examine the effects of alkali chlorides on nickel recovery. A cut of the roaster feed of MMIC-NRP in Nonoc, Surigao City is used as sample in this study. Three alkali chlorides are studied: potassium (the most efficient), sodium and lithium. The study also investigates the effects of three process variables.
