Peace dialogue is necessary to strengthen the Christians ties with the Muslims. This article is about the peace talk in Basilan, which was attended by 25,000 rebel returnees. It supplements the peace and development efforts of Ambassador Liningding officials for the purpose of convincing the rebels to join the national peace and reconciliation programs in Southern Philippines.
