Southern Mindanao reefs – Tawi-tawi Island.

Annotation

Tawi-tawi is an island province located southwest of Mindanao about 333 km. from Zamboanga City. The article describes that the reefs around the islands particularly Sanga-Sanga and Pahut extend some 200-300 m from the shore to the crest at 8-9 m deep. There are about 228 reef fish species belong to thirty-five families that are identified in the area.
