Documents the socioeconomic conditions of coastal fishermen in Naburos island, to determine their basic needs to gain insights into their perception of the Coastal Environment Program, and to initiate possible livelihood projects that they may engage to augment their income. The respondents have stayed in the year for an average of 33.63 years and hence became living witness of the depleting coastal resources. Empowering the communities through information and education campaign, training and involving them in any project activity is a way to make them understand that taking care of the coastal resources is the only way to maintain the productivity of their fishing ground.
