Small and big-scale fishermen using varied types of fishing gears have for years exploited Iligan Bay, which is one of the important fishing grounds in Mindanao, Southern Philippines. This research surveys small-scale fishery in Iligan Bay. Catch size, gear employed, distribution and marketing of fish, activity of fishermen, and household information are recorded through interview and actual observation during the period covering 1982 - 1983.
