The program initially released ten kg foundation seeds for each participant after their training on seed production. The first and second cycle of seed production demonstration planting is successful. Some constraints however, slow down seed production activities of some organizations which include farm to market road problems, labor on harvesting, and lack of post-harvest facilities. In the wet season planting in 1996, all cooperators of various organizations successfully harvested their products which followed the seed techno demonstration.
