This study determines the best pre-sowing method for Gmelina seeds. Observes significantly that seed treatment prior to germination such as the removal of seed from fruit, washed for one hour in running water then sun dried for four days obtain taller plant height of seedlings at two, four, six, eight, ten and twelve days after plotting and heavier fresh weight of seedlings at five weeks after sowing. The same treatment is also observed to speed up seed germination of Gmelina.
