A preliminary output of a field research among the Sama of Tawi Tawi with highlights on Sama culture and society. Points of similarities between the Sama and other cultural communities were also analyzed indicating the uniqueness of this Islamized community. Knowledgeable scholars and readers are expected to comment on the fresh data in this study.
