This study evaluates the economic viability and profitability of integrating duck egg production in the rainfed rice-based farming system. The study is conducted at Barangay Lower Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibuguey in 2000-2002. Based on the results, the introduced modified farming system is found to be more profitable under farmers field condition, than the farmers practice.
