The research is commissioned by the Mindanao Working Group for Reproductive Health, Gender & Sexuality. It seeks to get a deeper and broader perspective on deportation and to investigate its link to human rights violation with emphasis on sexual/ reproductive rights. The study documents the process of deportation as experienced by undocumented migrants, draws out and captures episodes of human rights violations focusing on sexual and reproductive rights. It determines immediate and direct consequences of forced displacement and assesses government and civil society response to deportees.
