Investigates the reactions of four sugarcane varieties to root knot nematode in terms of plant height, roots and top weight and nematode population build-up. The four varieties assessed include Alunan, Phil. 56-226, Phil. 16-11 and Phil. 60-19. The latter appears to be the most susceptible to M. incognita.
