The study reveals that in general, the academic personnel have moderate competencies in the four areas: other research oriented skills, scientific-technical papers, secondary technical paper, and basic written journalism and expressed a moderate need to be trained in these areas. Majority of the faculty members express willingness to participate in PRD activities of the institution, however, their participation is hindered by time in relation to their workload.
