This research is included in 1990 Accomplishment Report of DAR Region X. It examines the economic advantage of this cropping pattern as to its yield and profitability. Results show that the first cropping gives an MBCR of 3.015 for rice + cabbage pattern while corn has an MBCR of 1.37. Rice + cabbage shows superior performance over the farmers' pattern in the second cropping. This technology is recommended for dissemination.
