Deals with the preliminary survey of marine benthic macrophytes in Iligan City and productivity based on biomass measurements. Five division of macrophytes are collected: Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Phaeophyta, Rhodophyta and Anthophyta. It identifies the most diverse families, most productive species and five most important macrophytes found in Iligan Bay. Samplings are made in Biga, Luga-it, Dalipuga, Samburon, Linamon, Dalicanan, Kauswagan.
