Problems and coping strategies among the elderly

The common problems of the elderly as discussed in this study include physical problems such as wrinkled skin, white hair/baldness and poor body structure health-related problems such as poor eyesight, chronic illness, low resistance to common illness, poor hearing and poor food appetite emotional problems like sorrow and sadness, insecurity, anger, resentment and rejection and social-related problems. Their coping mechanisms involved the capacity/ability to offer difficulties to God/Allah adjust and adapt with changes and problems learn and relearn from life adversities and the like.
