Performance of true potato seed (TPS) as transplant or seedling tuber in seed and commercial production is evaluated by farmers group cooperative in Bukidnon. Thirty-six seedling transplants per square meter or 100 seedling tubers/sq.m produced approximately 400 tubers/sq. m inside the screenhouse. Tuber size of 3-30 g results to a yield range of 33-48 t/ha during dry months and thirty t/ha during wet months. The late maturity, big canopy and presence of Erwinia on stems and on tubers of the crop make the progeny undesirable top farmers.
