Plant height, fresh stalk weight, fresh fiber length, dry fiber weight and brushed filter increase with the use of either ammonium sulfate or ammonium chloride. Gibberellic acid (GA) increases stand count, stalk count/linear meter and stalk size. 75 to 100 ppm GA in combination with ammonium chloride, urea or ammonium sulfate as nitrogen ensured productive performance of ramie at RAMCOR (Buluan).
