Study shows that, in the open field, Napier significantly out yielded all other grasses at 90, 45, 45 days cutting intervals. Adropogon, Buffel and Signal alternately ranked next to Napier and are considered higher yielding grasses. Under a six-year old rubber plantation the dry matter yield of Napier is highly significant compared to the rest of the grasses at 90.
