Five silkworm varieties and its reciprocal for new F1 hybrids are evaluated under laboratory conditions with the following objectives: (1) to determine which is resistant to diseases, (2) to identify the best silkworm hybrids for mass production and commercialization, and (3) to increase cocoon and raw silk production.
