The study aims at finding out the effects of the Science-Technology-Society approach and the traditional approach on the science achievement and development of scientific attitudes of the first year students at the secondary school of Mindanao State University, General Santos City for school year 1991-1992. The results reveal that the achievement scores of the students towards Science in the pretest between the experimental and control groups are not statistically significant.
