Describes the traditional folkways of the B'laans related to courtship and marriage, more specifically, pre-nuptial negotiation and preparations wedding festivals and ceremonies popular beliefs and practices related to courtship and marriage among the Bilaans. The findings show that parental agreement in contracting marriages without the knowledge of the bride and the groom is generally practiced among the Bilaans. The agreement is done sometimes even before the children are born. The parents and the dowry system influenced acceptance of the bridegroom.
