Results of the experiment reveal that the fresh individual weight of fruits, number of fruits per tree, yield percentage fruit drop, leaf calcium and potassium contents varied significantly in response to foliar application of calcium nitrate [Ca(NO3)2], sulfuric quicklime solution (SQL), potassium nitrate (KNO3), potassium chloride (KCl) both at monthly (5 times) and fortnightly (ten time intervals). Trees sprayed ten times with calcium chloride (CaCl2) produce significantly bigger fruits, less fruit drop and highest yield. Moreover, a marked variation is also observed on calcium and potassium content of leaves.
