Explains the objectives of the consortium, which are as follows : (1) to establish a regional center (Southeast Asia) to study common problems and regional prospective, (2) to establish a regional resource data bank center which shall serve the needs of the regions, (3) to encourage international conference symposia and discussions in order to study and recommend possible solutions to problems common in the region, and (4) encourage mutual exchanges of scholarship/ and or scholars among member nations and to publish occasional paper/ journal which shall serve as a common forum of ideas.
