It is a study on the attitudes of the farmers towards tractor services. The study finds out that the attitudes and expectations of the farmers interviewed run parallel to the program of mechanization or the shift from work animals to mechanized implements. It should not evolve, however, into a purely commercial operation. The program should be geared to minimizing the time and effort exerted by the farmers and increasing the productive capacity of the farms through introduction of modern farming techniques and community action.
