Focuses on the evaluation of the professional preparation of teachers and the strategies employed in teaching Communication Arts in terms of vocabulary building, comprehension, work-study, and literary appreciation. Also looks into the relationship of the variables professional preparation and, teaching strategies, and reading achievement of their pupils. Involved are grade VI pupils in fourteen schools comprising Polanco District II.
